MAKE IT MONDAY #243: INK BLENDING OVER HEAT EMBOSSING

Hi!

I had time to make a card for Papertrey's MIM #243.  Danielle shows us ink blending over heat embossing!  I used a number of sets for my card.  Flowers are from 'Beautiful Blooms II', centers of the two middle flowers are cut using 'Bitty Button Stacks Die II', sentiment is from 'Stylish Sentiments: Birthday' and 'Keep it Simple: Birthday'.  Background text from 'Background Basics: Newsprint' is embossed using white embossing powder and sponged over with 'Hawaiian Shores' ink.

Papertrey Ink's 9th Anniversary - Day 3: Grab and Craft

I'm back with a card for Papertrey Ink's Day 3 challenge - Grab and Craft.  We were to create a card with supplies we grabbed in 5 minutes.  I grabbed the "Garden Gild" set, some matching paper and card stock, white embossing powder, Versamark Ink, and some rhinestones.

Papertrey Ink's 9th Anniversary - Day 1: DT Favourites

Hi!

It's Papertrey Ink's 9th Anniversary, and there are lots of challenges and prizes up for grabs!  I didn't have much time the last ten days and only had time to make a few cards.   
Day 1's challenge was to choose one of several color recipe cards, and make a project using those colors.  I chose Kay Miller's color recipe.




I came up with this:

Images are from the "Natural Beauties" set - it was the free set from Stamp-a-faire a few years ago.  Sentiment is from "Songbirds".

Papertrey Ink's January Blog Hop Challenge

Hi there!

It's time for Papertrey Ink's monthly blog hop!  Inspiration photo this time is by collage artist Rex Ray.  Lots of inspiration here!

I was inspired by the background and the colors.

I used PTI's "Hexagon Cover Plate" for my background.  Flower was created using the "Notched Flowers Die Collection" and a die from the "Bitty Button Stacks Die" for the center flower.  Leafy sprig is from the "Song Birds" die collection, and sentiment is from "Butterfly Dreams".

PTI's MAKE IT MONDAY #236: 2015 A LA CARTE

Hi!

I am back with my entry for this week's Papertrey Make It Monday challenge - we get to choose one of the 2015 weekly challenges that we missed playing along with.  I chose Make It Monday challenge #234: Embellishing with Felt.

I used PTI's "Pure Poppy" felt.  Flower stamp is from PTI's "Beautiful Blooms II", and base of flower is cut using "Beautiful Blooms II #1 Die Collection".  Other parts of the flower are cut using PTI's "Bitty Buttons Stacks Die" - sets 1 and 2.  Sentiment is from "Petite Pots".
