It's time for Papertrey Ink's Monthly Blog Hop! Nichole asked us to draw inspiration from these gorgeous prints from artist Victoria Johnson.
I came up with this:
I used PTI's Peony Cover Plate and drew from the colors above. I need some basic, generic cards so did not add a sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by!
Betty

ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning effect! That die is to die for...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors on your background that hold their own against your stunning die cut! Wow!
ReplyDeleteOoooo...I LOVE it!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW, Betty, this is gorgeous! Great job ink blending your background, and that Peony Cover Plate looks beautiful. How did you adhere it to your card? Just around the perimeter?
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy! Thanks so much for your lovely comment! Yes, I just adhered it around the perimeter using Multi Medium Matte. I also adhered a second die cut (floral part only) in navy blue just under the main white image to add a bit of depth. : )
DeleteLove your unique take on the inspiration. It's fabulous!
