Papertrey Ink's January Blog Hop Challenge

Hi there!

It's time for Papertrey Ink's monthly blog hop!  Inspiration photo this time is by collage artist Rex Ray.  Lots of inspiration here!

I was inspired by the background and the colors.

I used PTI's "Hexagon Cover Plate" for my background.  Flower was created using the "Notched Flowers Die Collection" and a die from the "Bitty Button Stacks Die" for the center flower.  Leafy sprig is from the "Song Birds" die collection, and sentiment is from "Butterfly Dreams".

Butterflies are cut using the matching dies from PTI's "Life is Beautiful"set.  The sentiment is from "Keep it Simple: Birthday Mini Stamp Set".

PTI's MAKE IT MONDAY #236: 2015 A LA CARTE

Hi!

I am back with my entry for this week's Papertrey Make It Monday challenge - we get to choose one of the 2015 weekly challenges that we missed playing along with.  I chose Make It Monday challenge #234: Embellishing with Felt.

I used PTI's "Pure Poppy" felt.  Flower stamp is from PTI's "Beautiful Blooms II", and base of flower is cut using "Beautiful Blooms II #1 Die Collection".  Other parts of the flower are cut using PTI's "Bitty Buttons Stacks Die" - sets 1 and 2.  Sentiment is from "Petite Pots".

Hi!

Happy New Year!  I am sneaking in a card for Simon Says Monday challenge - Something New.

I am using a new stamp set, "Pocket Watches", as well as a new sentiment die.  Both were gifts from my friend, Alvina!  Thanks Alvina!!  I sponged the image with Tim Holtz's distress ink "Antique Linen".

Hi there!

I'm playing along with Simon Says Wednesday challenge today - to use a die or dies on a project.  My collection of dies seems to be ever growing!

I used Papertrey Ink's 'Text Block: Christmas Die', and mounted the cut image onto a red background cut with a stitched rectangle die.  A quick and easy card.

Glittery Tree

Hi there!

It is time to crank out some Christmas cards! I am entering this card in two challenges - Gina K Designs release challenge (to add glitter), and Simon Says Wednesday challenge (Anything Goes).

The tree stamp is from Gina K Designs "Holiday Cheer".  I used glittered embossing powder, and the embellishments are glitter dots.
