I'm playing along with Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday #202 - Anchoring With Border and Banner Dies.  I just love Melissa Phillips work - always super gorgeous!  I followed her tutorial and came up with this:

The larger butterflies are from "Life is Beautiful"; smaller butterfly is the "butterfly die".  Flowers stamped in corner are from "Thinking of You"; and sentiment is from "Pretty Petals".  Thanks for stopping by!

PaperTrey MIM #201

Hi,
I'm back with another card!  This is for PTI's Make it Monday #201: Cover Plate Stencils and Embossing Paste. First time working with embossing paste, and I got some in areas where I did not want it.  Will do it a bit differently next time. : )

StampTV Backgrounds Challenge

Hi,
 I created this blog a few years ago, but haven't posted anything yet.  Well, here goes.....

I made this card for the current StampTV Monday challenge- Karen asked us to create a background using patterned paper (at least three) and/or ink refills.  I used the fabulous new StampTV kit "Birthday Essentials" for the stamped images.

To created the pieced background, I followed a technique that Gina showcased in a recent video called "Scrappy Background".
