Holiday Wishes

 Hi,

In the recent "PTI Video Series with Shauna Todd", she walks us through the creation of her beautiful holiday card.  Our challenge is to create a holiday wishes card.  

I still had the supplies out from making my previous card, so just changed things up a bit.  Border is cut from PTI's "Bold Borders: Flurries Die", snowflakes are from "Fancy Flakes Die Collection" and sentiment is from "Penned Elegance:  Christmas".

I have started on Christmas cards, and today I have a card for Papertrey Ink's  October 13's "The Great Cover-Up Challenge" where we are to create a Christmas card.

I used PTI's "Bold Borders:  Flurries Die" for the border and sentiment, and the snowflakes are from PTI's "Fancy Flakes Die Collection".

Joyful Birthday

 Hi,

Today's card is for Papertrey Ink's Oct 11th "What Do I Do With This Challenge" - to create a card using sequins as accents.  

The flowers are from "Gran's Garden",  and the sentiment is from "Stylish Sentiments:  Birthday".  I used "Border Bling:  Skinny Diagonal Frame Die" and "Border Bling:  Lots of Dots Die" for the borders.

Birthday Blooms

 Hi,

I have one more card tonight. This card is for Papertrey Ink's "What Do I Do With This" challenge where we are to use Rainstones to add a natural water droplet look.  This card is similar to one I made a couple of months ago.  I used the leftover piece of card stock where I had previously cut out three rectangles.  

Blooms and vase are from Papertrey Ink's "Abundant Blooms", and sentiment is from PTI's "Songbirds".  I also used PTI's "Cover Plate: Ornate" for the background.

It is Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge's 11th birthday!  Happy Birthday - wishing you many more!  I have two cards today for the Birthday Celebration Challenge.  

I used Papertrey Ink's "Textblock:  Birthday Die" for the main image.  Little wren is from The Greetery's "Robin and Wren", and flowers are from Spellbinders "Build a Spring Birdhouse".

I'm back with a card for Papertrey Ink's "The Great Cover-Up" where Amy challenged us to create a card using shapes to ground an intricate background.  This is what I came up with: 

I used  Papertrey Ink's "Abundant Blooms" for the main image.  This is an awesome set- super easy to line up, with beautiful results.  Sentiment is from PTI's "Flower Power", and background is "Cover Plate:  Ornate Die".

Tonight's card is for Simon Says Monday Challenge:  Feminine, and Simon Says Wednesday Challenge:  Feminine.  

Flowers are from The Greetery's "Budding Beauties Spring Stamp Set", and "Budding Beauties Summer Stamp Set".  Greeting is from Simon Says Stamp's "Tiny Words".  Bow is from The Greetery's "Fit to be Tied Die".  The "Stitched background is Papertrey Ink's "Border Bling: Tin Stitched Die".  And the rectangle is from Spellbinder's A2 Locking Loops.  

I used the same layout from a few weeks ago, and just changed up the flowers and the colours.

Today I have a card for Simon Says Monday Challenge:  Add a Quote. 

Butterfly is from Gina K Design's "Hope is Faith", and quote is from GKD's "Hang in There".  I used Simon Says Stamp's "Autumn Splendor" stencil to create the butterfly's background, and SSS's "Detail Ringlet Plate" on the base layer.

Simon Says: Sending Hugs

Today's card is for Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Sending Hugs.      

Layout inspired by the super talented Jennifer McGuire.

I used Papertrey Ink's "Harvest Berries" for the main image, and overlaid it with Simon Says Stamp's Holographic paper - love that reflection!  I used SSS's "CZ Design Hugs Wafer Dies" for the die cut sentiment, and SSS's "Tiny Words" for the small sentiment.  The base layer is cut with SSS's "Detail Ringlet Plate" (one of my new favourites).
